OIL Retainer Doctor Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications (Essential): MBBS with minimum one year internship.
• Registration: Valid Certificate of Registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) as mandated under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
• Age Limit: Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 50 years as on the date of registration for the Walk-in-Interview.
• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply on the date of registration.
• Reservation: The two posts are Unreserved (UR). Reservation for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen is as per Government of India guidelines, with PwBD suitability OA, OL, OAL, Dw.
• Date of Birth Proof: Class 10 Admit Card / Pass Certificate / Marksheet issued by a Government Recognised Education Board is the only valid proof of date of birth.

Salary/Stipend

• Contract Emoluments: ₹ 85,000/- per month.
• The total Contract Emoluments consist of Fixed and Variable components.
• In case the selected candidate avails Maternity Leave during the course of contractual engagement, only the Fixed component of the Contract Emoluments shall be paid.

• Minimum Age: 18 years.
• Maximum Age: 50 years as on the date of registration for Walk-in-Interview.

Selection Process

• The candidates will be selected based on a Walk-in-Interview of total 100 marks.
• The minimum qualifying marks in the Walk-in-Interview will be 50 for all categories.
• Candidates will be assessed on parameters such as Professional Knowledge and Skills (concerned discipline), Professional Knowledge and Skills (allied discipline), Personal Attributes and Soft Skills.
• Final selection will be made purely on merit based on marks obtained in the Walk-in-Interview, securing qualifying marks of 50 or above.
• Only those candidates who meet the notified eligibility criteria and whose original documents are verified successfully during registration will be allowed to appear in the Walk-in-Interview.

General Information/Instructions

• The contractual requirement is purely temporary in nature and involves working in shifts and on “On-Call” duty basis at Field Headquarters, Duliajan.
• The engagement is purely contractual and will not confer any right or claim for employment or regularization in Oil India Limited.
• The contract can be terminated at any time by giving 15 days’ notice by either side.
• Selected candidates must provide a fitness certificate from a Government-registered medical practitioner at the time of joining and a Police verification/character and antecedents certificate from the competent authorities.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Walk-in-Interview, and candidates must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements; no reimbursement is provided for joining.
• Submission of false/forged/misleading information or documents, use of unfair means, impersonation, or canvassing shall lead to disqualification, rejection, termination and debarment from future examinations/tests conducted by Oil India Limited.
• Selected candidates may be placed at any location as deemed fit by the competent authority and will be provided accommodation on sharing basis in Executive accommodation.
• Selected candidates will be entitled to 10 days paid leave for a period of one year, which can be availed to a maximum of 6 days at a time.
• Any dispute related to this engagement will fall under the jurisdiction of Dibrugarh district court only.

How to Apply

• Interested candidates who meet all prescribed eligibility criteria must report for registration to appear in the Walk-in-Interview as per the schedule given.
• Candidates must mandatorily complete registration at the venue between 07:00 A.M. and 09:00 A.M. on 20/01/2026; no candidate will be allowed to register beyond this time frame.
• During registration, information furnished by the candidate will be verified from original documents; only those who meet eligibility criteria and produce original certificates/testimonials will be allowed to appear in the Walk-in-Interview.
• If the number of registered candidates exceeds the adequate limit/capacity, the Walk-in-Interview for remaining registered candidates may be carried forward or completed on subsequent day(s) as required.
