The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued the 2nd Corrigendum to Advertisement No. 09 of 2026-27 for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP). As per this notice (No. 5447/PSC, dated 22.09.2026), the Preliminary Examination date has been rescheduled from 01 November 2026 to 22 November 2026 (Sunday). The change was already communicated earlier vide Notice No. 5325/PSC dated 11.09.2026, and this corrigendum formally updates Para-7 of the Short Advertisement and Para-8 of the Long Advertisement to reflect the new date. All other terms and conditions of Advertisement No. 09 of 2026-27 remain unchanged.

Why Was the OPSC APP Exam Date Changed?
According to the official corrigendum, the Preliminary Examination date for Assistant Public Prosecutor was rescheduled after taking into account the scheduling of the OCS Main (Written) Examination-2025 (pursuant to Advertisement No. 05 of 2025-26), which is being held from 29.10.2026 to 07.11.2026. To avoid a clash with this exam window, OPSC moved the APP Preliminary Exam to 22.11.2026.
