Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. with a minimum 55% mark (or a CGPA of 5.5 on 10-point scale) in any branch of Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics.
- Desirable Qualifications: Qualification in any of the national level eligibility tests in the relevant subject for research like CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or LS), or GATE or any such exam conducted by Govt. of India agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, etc., and experience or exposure in molecular biology and biochemical methods.
Salary/Stipend
The fellowship amount for the first two years as Project Associate-I is as follows:
- For NET/GATE qualified candidates: Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month.
- For non-NET/GATE candidates: Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA per month.
Selection Process
The selection process involves the following steps:
