SBI FLC Counsellor and Director Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 257 Posts

SBI FLC Recruitment 2026 is a contractual engagement drive by State Bank of India to hire retired bank officials as Financial Literacy Counsellors and FLC Directors to conduct financial awareness programs across India.

A total of 257 vacancies have been announced, including 246 posts for FLC Counsellors and 11 posts for FLC Directors, distributed circle-wise across SBI offices and Financial Literacy Centres.

Retired officers from SBI, other Public Sector Banks, or RRBs who retired in Scale I to IV are eligible. Retired clerical staff of SBI may also be considered if sufficient officers are not available.

Candidates must be retired officers from SBI or other PSBs/RRBs who retired in Scale III or Scale IV, with experience in banking operations and ability to manage Financial Literacy Centres.

Applicants must be between 60 and 63 years of age as on 31 January 2026. No age relaxation is provided for any category under this recruitment.

Monthly remuneration ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹50,000, depending on the grade at the time of retirement. The pay is fixed, consolidated, and paid without affecting pension benefits.

The engagement is initially up to two years, extendable by one additional year, subject to performance review or till the candidate attains 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.

Selection is based on shortlisting by SBI followed by an interview. The interview carries 100 marks, and final merit is prepared circle-wise based on interview performance only.
