Transfer Condition: Although candidates apply for a selected location, the Bank reserves the right to transfer appointed employees anywhere in India.
South Indian Bank Junior Officer Contract Period and Career Progression
The Junior Officer (Operations) appointment is initially on a three-year contract, renewable at the sole discretion of the Bank based on performance evaluation.
After completing the initial contract or any extension, high-performing employees may be considered for regular employment as Assistant Manager (Scale I), subject to prevailing Bank norms. This is discretionary and is not a guaranteed promotion or conversion to permanent employment.
