Eligibility Criteria
- Data Scientist: Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Health Economics/Computer Science/IT/Statistics/Public Health with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification relevant work experience in data analytics OR Master’s degree in the same subjects.
- Project Research Scientist-I: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degree, in Life Sciences from a recognized university, with skills in recombinant DNA technology, cloning, in vitro transcription, protein expression and purification, western blotting, mammalian cell culture, mouse handling and experimentation, ELISA, FACS, etc.
- Office Assistant: 10th Standard from a recognized board with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification experience in a relevant field such as routine office tasks, handling letters/dak, maintaining cleanliness, assisting in meetings/events; experience in laboratory/scientific research administration preferred.
- Project Assistant: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degree, in Life Sciences from a recognized university, preferably with experience in healthcare or scientific research administration, laboratory work, cloning, expression and purification of proteins, and good communication and organizational skills.
- All educational, professional and technical qualifications must be from recognized Boards/Universities; experience counted after minimum qualification only.
Age Limit (as on Date of Interview)
- Data Scientist: Maximum 35 years on 18/12/2025.
- Project Research Scientist-I: Maximum 35 years on 16/12/2025.
- Office Assistant: Maximum 50 years on 16/12/2025.
- Project Assistant: Maximum 35 years on 16/12/2025.
- Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10–15 years for PwBD (as per category), up to 5 years for Central Govt. servants, relaxation for institute employees to the extent of service, and for Ex‑servicemen to the extent of service plus 3 years (with conditions).
Salary/Stipend
- Data Scientist: Rs. 65,000/- per month (consolidated).
- Project Research Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000/- per month plus HRA.
- Office Assistant: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated).
- Project Assistant: Rs. 35,000/- per month (consolidated).
Selection Process
- Walk‑in written test/skill test/interview for the advertised posts at THSTI on the specified dates and time.
- Candidates reporting after the mentioned time slot will not be entertained for selection.
- If many candidates appear, a screening may be conducted to limit candidates to those with higher or more relevant qualifications/experience.
- All results/notifications will be published only on the THSTI website; all communications will be via email.
