Honorarium / Salary - Post-wise Monthly Pay Details

These are contractual engagement positions with honorarium-based compensation, not regular government salary posts. The monthly anticipated honorarium varies by post and is calculated on the basis of days engaged. Travel allowance (TA) is paid separately per day, and actual 2nd class train or government bus fare is reimbursed for trainings conducted at SMMU, Chennai.

Roles and Responsibilities - What Will You Do?

SRP - Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training for DRPs and BRPs on PRI-CBO Convergence at SIRD, RIRDs, or other designated institutions
• Provide continuous handholding to DRPs and BRPs, especially in resolving field-level challenges and conflicts
• Coordinate with DRPs across assigned districts and observe district-level training sessions for quality assurance
• Review monthly action plans and progress reports prepared by DRPs and ensure alignment with project timelines
• Monitor project activities across three assigned districts and troubleshoot implementation bottlenecks in coordination with SMMU
• Support DRPs in coordinating with District Panchayats and District Mission Management Units (DMMUs)
• Identify, document, and share monthly best practices and success stories from the field
• Prepare and submit monthly action plans and progress reports to the State Mission Management Unit (SMMU)
• Attend ToT sessions, review meetings, exposure visits, and capacity-building workshops as required
• Undertake any other PRI-CBO Convergence assignments directed by CEO, TNSRLM / MD, TNCDW

DRP - Key Responsibilities

• Support BRPs in conducting training at the Village Panchayat level
• Provide continuous handholding and field-level troubleshooting support to BRPs
• Monitor project activities in assigned blocks and ensure alignment with timelines
• Attend residential and non-residential training programmes at SIRD, RIRD, or other institutions
• Review BRPs' monthly action plans and reports and submit consolidated reports to DMMU and SRP
• Support BRPs in coordinating with Block Panchayats and Block Mission Management Units (BMMUs)
• Document and share monthly best practices and case studies from the field

BRP - Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA) for IBCB, P&C, and PRI-CBO convergence universalization
• Strictly follow the training calendar and prepare training content as per ToT training at the district
• Conduct training at Block and Panchayat levels and draw schedules to strengthen B, C, D graded CBOs
• Provide guidance, handholding, and nurturing support to BMMU-level mission staff and community cadres
• Guide CBO members and office-bearers towards self-sustainability and self-reliance
• Submit travel plans to Project Director approval on the 5th of every month
• Identify and document best practices and case studies under IB-CB, FI, Gender/FNHW/SISD/PRI-CBO

Common Mistakes to Avoid - TNSRLM Application 2026

Many candidates lose their chance at these positions due to avoidable errors at the application stage. Since this is a physical application process with no online correction window, any mistake made before submission is difficult to undo. Here are the most critical pitfalls to watch out for.

• Applying to the wrong DMMU: Each application must go to the DMMU of the district you are applying for. Sending it to any other district office - even the SMMU - will result in rejection.
• Missing the 29 June 2026 deadline: TNSRLM has explicitly stated that late applications will not be entertained. Post your application at least 4-5 days early to account for postal delays.
• Mismatching qualification type: BRP requires an UG degree; SRP and DRP require a PG degree. Applying for SRP or DRP with only an UG qualification is an automatic disqualification.
