Eligibility Criteria for UCSL Diploma Engineering Trainee 2025
1. Educational Qualification
Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a State Board of Technical Education.
2. Domicile
Mandatory: Candidate must be domicile of Karnataka State.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 25 years as on 18.12.2025 (born on or after 19.12.2000)
- Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL) – 3 years | SC/ST – 5 years
Selection Process for UCSL Diploma Engineering Trainee 2025
- Phase I: Objective Type Online Test (80 marks, 90 minutes) – General Awareness, English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Subject-based (60 marks)
- Phase II: Descriptive Type Test (20 marks English writing skills)
- Total: 100 marks
- Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 50%, OBC – 45%, SC/ST – 40% in each phase
- Certificate verification for qualified candidates
- Rank list based on total marks (in case of tie, discipline marks → age seniority)
