Selection Procedure
- Applications will be scrutinised at the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies level by a committee, and candidates will be shortlisted based on merit as per the evaluation criteria above.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Master's Degree, or who were toppers of their Bachelor's Degree, in the prescribed streams only.
- The decision of the Department will be final, and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Tenure of Engagement
- Candidates willing to work in any municipality, or at any other office under the control of the Urban Local Bodies Department in the state, will be engaged initially for one year, which may be further extended up to three years based on year-to-year satisfactory performance of the individual expert.
- Candidates will provide their choice of three places of posting.
- Either party may terminate the engagement by giving a mandatory minimum of 30 days' notice to the other.
- Contractual services are liable for termination at any time before the expiry of the contract period on account of poor performance, misconduct, or as per requirement, by serving 30 days' written notice.
