UPSC CAPF AC 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The written examination has two papers with a combined total of 450 marks.
- Paper 1 - General Ability and Intelligence: Objective type (MCQs), 125 questions, 2 marks per correct answer, duration 2 hours.
- Paper 2 - General Studies, Essay and Comprehension: Descriptive type, 200 marks, duration 3 hours. Candidates may attempt the essay component in Hindi or English.
- Negative Marking (Paper 1 only): 1/3rd (0.66 marks) is deducted for every wrong answer.
