The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the result of the written part of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2026 on 20th July 2026. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the official list have qualified for the Interview/Personality Test stage. The written exam was held on 20th and 21st June 2026.

- Go to the "Written Results" section.
- Click on "Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2026" result link.
- Open the PDF and use Ctrl+F to search your Roll Number.
- Download and save the result PDF for future reference.

What Happens Next: Interview / Personality Test Process
- Candidature is provisional, subject to eligibility verification on all counts (age, educational qualification, community, physical disability, EWS, etc.).
- Original certificates must be produced at the time of the Personality Test.
- A window will open "in due course" at upsconline.nic.in for candidates to update educational qualification status, Correspondence/Post Address, Higher Qualification, Achievements, Employment Details/Service Experience, Service Allocation, and Service Preferences (if qualified for both categories of posts).
- Details updated during this window are treated as final. Requests for changes through any other mode will not be entertained.
- Candidates who did not have the prescribed educational qualification at the time of the online application must update details and upload proof of passing the requisite qualifying exam, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the Personality Test and their candidature may be cancelled.
- The Interview schedule will be published in due course on the Commission's website; the exact date/time will also be intimated individually to candidates. No request for change in interview date/time will be entertained under any circumstances.
- Candidates are advised to also check their registered email for further information.
Documents Required at Interview
Candidates must bring all original certificates for verification, including proof of:
- Age / Date of Birth
- Educational Qualifications
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), where applicable
- EWS Certificate, where applicable
- Physical Disability Status, where applicable
Candidates will be solely responsible if valid proof is not produced in support of any of the above claims, as per Rule 4 of the Press Note.
Mark Sheet Details
Mark sheets will be uploaded on the UPSC website within 15 days of the final result (declared after the Personality Test) and will remain available for 30 days. Candidates can access marks by entering their Roll Number and Date of Birth. Printed/hard copies can be requested within 30 days of the marks being displayed, accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope; requests after this period will not be entertained.
Important Instructions
- Keep all original certificates ready in advance of the Personality Test.
- Notify any change of address to UPSC immediately via letter or email.
