• JRF: field experiments and data collection; deployment of IoT sensors and precision farming equipment; coordination with farmers; mobile-based advisory and decision-support tools
• Technical/Project Assistant: GeM, Talley, PFMS accounts, cash book, PPT, Photoshop, Coral draw; typing 30 wpm Marathi and 40 wpm English, MS-CIT; office records; manufacturing machines

Post-wise Details

Research Associate (1 post)

Qualification required: Ph.D. (Farm Machinery and Power Engg.) or M. Tech in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering with three years of teaching/industry/research experience; Should have published at least one paper in SCI or NAAS journals. Experience required: Three years of teaching/industry/research experience (with the M.Tech option). Age limit: 40 years for men; 45 years for women. Pay: Rs. 58000+ 10%HRA (Fixed Pay).

Senior Research Fellow (2 posts)

Qualification required: M. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) with two years of experience. Experience required: Two years of experience. Age limit: 40 years for men; 45 years for women. Pay: Rs. 42000+ 10% HRA (Fixed Pay).

Junior Research Fellow (1 post)

Qualification required: Master degree in Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Genetics and Plant Breeding. Age limit: 40 years for men; 45 years for women. Pay: Rs. 37000+ 10% HRA (Fixed Pay).

Technical/Project Assistant cum Technician (2 posts)

Qualification required: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or commerce (BCA/BCS/B.Tech. Computer Science/ B.Tech. Mechanical Engg.) or B. Com. Age limit: 40 years for men; 45 years for women. Pay: Rs. 18000+ 10% HRA (Fixed Pay).

Contractual Skilled Labour (1 post)

Qualification required: Should have passed HSC (12th) Examination or Diploma in Machinist trade/ Fitter trade. Age limit: 40 years for men; 45 years for women. Pay: Rs.15000 (Fixed Pay).

Contractual Un-skilled Labour (1 post)

Qualification required: Should have passed SSC (10th) Examination. Age limit: 40 years for men; 45 years for women. Pay: Rs.12000 (Fixed Pay).

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Purely temporary appointment, terminated after completion of project assignment
• Maximum 11 months; initial appointment order for 06 months, extension based on satisfactory performance and subject to university approval
• Must join within seven days of the office order, else the order is cancelled and the waitlisted candidate gets the chance
• One-month advance written notice to leave, otherwise one month's salary to be deposited
• No regular leave; CL 08 days a year and university holidays
• No claim for regular appointment, permanency or seniority in VNMKV
