- Principal :
- Masters' Degree (2-year regular course) with Honours at Graduation level, at least 55% marks in any school teaching subject from recognised University.
- M.Ed./M.Ed. (Elementary) with 55% marks OR M.A. in Education with 55% marks + Diploma/Degree in Primary/Elementary Education with 55% marks from recognised University/Institute.
- Five years experience of teaching in Primary or Elementary Teachers' Training Institute.
- Knowledge of Bengali language (spoken and written).
- Computer Literacy.
