Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate degree in Social Work / other social fields.
- Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Social Work / other social fields.
- Desirable Qualification: Postgraduate degree holder preferred. Experience in working on computer in English language.
- Experience: At least 3 years experience in gender related works in government / semi-government institutions / non-governmental organizations. At least 3 years experience in women's issues.
Salary/ Stipend
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum age 21 years and maximum 45 years.
- Relaxation in age limit as per state government instructions for local residents of Chhattisgarh, but maximum age not exceeding 50 years.

Selection Process
- Merit list prepared based on scoring system: Up to 60 marks for percentage in minimum educational qualification (weightage of 100 marks), 2 marks for each additional year of experience beyond minimum (max 10 marks), 2 bonus marks for local residents of Chhattisgarh.
- Total 80 marks for merit, followed by walk-in interview / skill test for 20 marks.
- In case of tie in marks, preference given to older candidate.
General Information Instructions
- Age verification based on birth certificate or marksheet of class 8th or 10th with date of birth. Original and self-attested copies mandatory at document verification.
- For Gender Specialist post, residency in Chhattisgarh not mandatory, but priority to locals with 2 bonus marks in merit.
- Permanent caste certificate from competent authority mandatory for reserved categories.
- Candidate who married before minimum legal age not eligible. Selected candidate must submit notarized affidavit on Rs. 50/- stamp paper.
- Candidate married to person with living spouse not eligible, unless government grants exemption.
- Application in prescribed format with self-attested / gazetted officer attested certificates and marksheets.
- Experience certificate from employer, attested by gazetted officer. Authenticity will be verified.
- Decision of appointing authority (District Collector) final on validating experience.
- Voluntary service certificates accepted as experience.
- Government / semi-government employees must submit no objection certificate from employer.
- Incomplete, unclear, or erroneous applications rejected without notice. Do not apply if not qualified.
- Envelope and application must mention post name, sender's name, address, email, mobile.
- Applicants verify own eligibility; candidature can be cancelled at any stage if ineligible.
- No relaxation in essential educational qualification. Relaxation in minimum experience only in special cases with Director's permission.
- Appointment on contract for maximum 2 years initially, extendable by 1 year based on performance.
- Appointment temporary and can be terminated without reason. Either party can terminate with 1 month notice or pay.
- Posts limited to duration of scheme by Government of India; no responsibility after termination.
- Leave entitlement as per Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2012.
- Travel allowance as per equivalent post if sent on tour or training.
