Eligibility Criteria for WII Young Professional Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

• Option 1: Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science / Zoology / Ecology / Environmental Sciences / Geoinformatics / Life Sciences) or equivalent subjects from a recognized university AND 3 to 5 years of experience in Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific Activities & Services.
• Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in relevant subject from a recognized institute AND 3 to 5 years of experience in Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific Activities & Services.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in wildlife and tiger landscape/habitats
• Knowledge of report writing, AI tools, presentations, and DPR preparation
• Understanding of ecology, climate change, green credits, and carbon markets
• Use of GIS and similar analytical tools
• Experience with data management software
• Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools

Age Limit (As on Last Date of Application)

• Maximum Age: 32 Years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years
• Other categories: As per Government of India norms

WII Young Professional Salary 2026 – Pay Structure

Additional Benefits: The position is contractual and does not carry regular government allowances or pension benefits.
