1. Scientific Assistant-I: 03
2. Photographer Grade-III: 01
3. Senior Scientific Assistant (Explosives): 01
4. Post Graduate Teacher (Chemistry): 01
5. Trained Graduate Teacher (Tamil): 01
6. Assistant Field Officer: 13
7. Library & Information Assistant: 01
8. Zoological Assistant: 02
9. Senior Radio Technician: 01
Age Limit: Candidates’ age limit is 18-25 years for S.No 1, 2, 7, 8 Posts; not more than 30 years for S.No 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 Posts as on last date of receipt of application. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Sc (Agriculture) for S.No 1 Post; M.Sc degree in Soil Science, Agriculture Chemistry or Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science of a recognized University or equivalent for S.No 6 Post; must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination, knowledge of practical experience of photography and photomicrography, developing, printing, enlarging, copying and preparation of lantern slides for S.No 2 Post with relevant experience. Refer notification for post wise qualification.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Screening Test, Written Proficiency Test, Interview or Skill Test.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are available in all Post Offices. SC/ ST, OH/ HH, Female and eligible EX-Serviceman candidates are exempted from the fees.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can send applications in the prescribed format along with CRFS, attested copies of all relevant certificates and mark sheets, one recent passport size photograph duly signed and affixed must reach The Regional Director (SR), Staff Selection Commission, 2nd Floor, EVK Sampath Building, College Road, Chennai-600217 on or before 01-07-2013 and 08-07-2013 for remote areas.
