WBSEDCL Jobs 2013 – Medical Officer Posts: West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), a wholly-owned profit-making Government of West Bengal Enterprise, engaged in the business of Power Distribution and Hydel Generation in major parts of the State of West Bengal has issued notification for the recruitment of 03 Chief Medical Officer, Medical Officer Posts. Name of the Post:
1. Chief Medical Officer: 01 Post
2. Medical Officer: 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age must be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years for Medical Officer Post and minimum 45 years and maximum 55 years for Chief Medical Officer Post as on 01.01.2013. Relaxations will be extended as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess MBBS from any Institute of repute recognized by Medical Council of India. Candidates with PG Degree in Medicine are preferred.
Application Fee: A sum of Rs.400/- shall be deposited as application fees for the post of Medical Officer in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd payable at Kolkata only. ST candidates from the state of west Bengal are exempted from paying the fees.
Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates have to apply through prescribed application format and send it along with all relevant documents, DD and super scribed the name of the post applied for on the envelope and send to the Additional General Manager (HR&A), Recruitment & Manpower Planning Cell, Vidyut Bhavan, 7th floor, C Block, Sector-II, Bidannagar, Kolkatta-700091 so as to reach on or before 11-06-2013.

As per notification to apply for the post of ITI trainees in WBSEDCL candidates must possess Madhyamik or equivalent plus Trade Certificate under NCTVT from any Govt.ITI under Director of Industrial Training,Govt.of West Bengal in the trade(2 years’ duration)as Wireman or Electrician.
