AAI NSCBI Airport Kolkata Graduate & Diploma Apprentice 2026 – Important Details
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian Nationals having domicile of West Bengal are only eligible.
- Candidates must have passed degree/diploma in the concerned stream in 2023 or after 2023.
- Graduate Apprentices must possess full time (regular) four years degree in Engineering in Electronics and Communication or equivalent, recognized by AICTE, GOI.
- Diploma Apprentices must possess full time three years (regular) diploma in Engineering in Electronics and Tele Communication or equivalent, recognized by AICTE, GOI.
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship, terminated it midway, or have 1 year or more apprenticeship/job experience after attaining essential qualification are not eligible.
Vacancy Details
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years as on 05/02/2026.
- Maximum Age: 26 years as on 05/02/2026.
- Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories as per Government of India guidelines.
Selection Process
- Vacancies of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices will be advertised through the BOPT/NATS website only.
- Only nominations of candidates received from the office of BOPT/NATS will be considered for provisional selection.
- Provisional selection based on percentage of marks in the required educational qualification.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document Verification through their registered email IDs only.
- Final selection based on Interview, verification of certificates, and submission of Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices at AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52 only.
How To Apply
- Interested candidates must apply through NATS/BOPT web portal at https://nats.education.gov.in for Graduate/Diploma Apprentices.
- Search for the establishment “Airports Authority of India, O/o Airport Director, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52 (EWBPNC000002 – for graduate/diploma apprentices)” and click on the Apply button.
- After successful application, a confirmation message will appear on the portal indicating that you have applied for the training position.
- Candidates must register themselves with NATS/BOPT portal prior to applying; only applications received online through NATS/BOPT will be considered.
- No correspondence/communication/applications in any other mode will be entertained.

Instructions
- During the period of apprenticeship, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules/policies of AAI.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. will be followed; in case of non-availability of candidates in reserved category, seats may be filled from other reserved/general categories.
- AAI has no obligation to provide regular or contractual employment to apprentices, and no claim for job can be made on the basis of apprenticeship.
- The number of candidates to be engaged is indicative and may change without further notification.
- Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of certificates, medical fitness certificate from Government medical officer/undertaking, and birth certificate at the time of joining.
- Applications for more than one discipline will be rejected.
- If any false, incomplete, or incorrect information is found at any stage, candidature/engagement is liable to be cancelled.
Application Fee
- No Application Fee is being charged for this apprenticeship engagement.
Salary/Stipend
- Graduate Apprentice (Electronics and Communication): Rs. 15,000/- per month (Rs. 10,500/- AAI share + Rs. 4,500/- Govt. share under DBT scheme).
- Diploma Apprentice (Electronics and Tele Communication): Rs. 12,000/- per month (Rs. 8,000/- AAI share + Rs. 4,000/- Govt. share under DBT scheme).
