Educational Qualification (Subject-wise)
TGT (English)
Three-year Bachelor's/Honours degree with minimum 50% marks (or the four-year integrated degree route with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution) plus a pass in CTET Paper-II. Must have studied English as an Elective/Main subject in at least 3 years/6 semesters of the degree course. Knowledge of Computer Applications is desirable.
TGT (Social Science)
Must have studied any two of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science during graduation - one of which must be History or Geography as a Main subject for at least 3 years/6 semesters, and the second for at least one year/two semesters. Candidates under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with these subjects are also eligible. B.Ed and CTET Paper-II are required as per the general TGT criteria.
TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit)
Must have studied Hindi/Sanskrit as an Elective/Main subject for at least 3 years/6 semesters of the degree course, along with B.Ed and CTET Paper-II.
TGT (Special Educator)
- Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university/institute.
- Any one of: B.Ed (Special Education) with 50%+ marks; B.Ed (General) + 1-year or 2-year Diploma in Special Education; B.Ed (General) + Post Graduate Professional Diploma (PGPD) in Special Education; B.Ed Special Education + Post Graduate Professional Certificate (PGPC); PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation/Multiple Disability/Locomotor Impairment); Secondary Level Teacher Training in Visual Impairment; Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf; or BA B.Ed with 50%+ marks in Visual Impairment; or any other RCI-approved equivalent qualification.
- Qualified in CTET (Elementary Stage) - up to 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
- Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with a valid CRR number.
- Proficiency to teach in Hindi and English.
Librarian
Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, or Library & Information Science, from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks, plus knowledge of Computer Applications and working knowledge of Hindi and English.
TGT (Art)
Bachelor's degree in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art/Fine Arts with minimum 50% marks (Drawing and Painting must be the Main subject throughout the degree), plus a B.Ed degree with minimum 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution. Working knowledge of English/Hindi/regional language, school work experience, and computer knowledge are desirable.
TGT (PET - Male/Female)
Four-year integrated course/Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, or Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports from an NCTE-recognized institution, with minimum 50% marks - OR graduation plus B.P.Ed with minimum 50% marks separately in each. State-level representation in a recognized sport, working knowledge of English/Hindi, school experience, and a National Institute of Sports diploma are desirable.
Balvatika Teacher (BVT)
- Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks, with English as a subject at +2 level.
- Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed) of at least 2 years, or B.Ed (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- Proficiency in teaching in English medium.
- Working knowledge of computers is required; working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
Note: For TGT posts, candidates without B.Ed but with 60%+ marks (Science subjects) or 55%+ marks (Humanities) in graduation may be considered at the sole discretion of the school, if candidates with the requisite qualification are unavailable.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted and empaneled through a Skill Test and Practical Classroom Observation (Demo Teaching Class) as per the notified schedule. Candidates must come prepared to present both a topic of their own choice and another topic chosen at random from a box on the day of the test.

Reporting time is 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on the scheduled test date; candidates will not be entertained beyond reporting hours. Cut-off marks for shortlisting will be based on marks scored in both years of Intermediate/+2 for PRT and BVT posts, and marks across all years of graduation (including languages) for TGT posts. If the number of registered candidates increases, the number of test days may be extended, with updates posted on the AECS-2 notice board.

Important Instructions
- Proficiency in teaching in English is compulsory for all categories except regional language posts.
- Candidates applying for contract teacher posts should have experience taking online/offline classes and computer knowledge for conducting online classes and tests.
- Teachers retired from KVS, NVS, or AEES services are eligible to apply if below 65 years of age, and must appear for the Skill Test and Demo Class.
- Incomplete applications, or those without required mark sheet photocopies, will be rejected.
- If applications in any category/subject are high, the eligibility cut-off percentage will be decided at the sole discretion of AEC Schools, Hyderabad.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the Skill Test and Demo Class.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained regarding shortlisting or empanelment.
- AEC Schools, Hyderabad reserves the right to amend the number of posts, withdraw advertised posts, or not fill any post at its discretion.
