1. Get the application form (Annexure-A, "Application Format for Engagement of Support Staff in Boy's Hostel"). The notice says the form and other details can be downloaded from the District website; the form is also printed as pages 4 and 5 of the notice.
2. Fill in the form: post applied for, name in block letters, father's/husband's name, present and permanent address, email ID, contact and WhatsApp number, nationality, date of birth, age as on date of advertisement, sex, marital status, Employment Exchange Registration No., educational qualification (10th, +2, +3 Graduation, others) and work experience, if any.
3. Affix one recent self-attested passport size photograph in the box on the form and sign the declaration.
4. Attach the documents listed under Enclosures below.
5. Send the complete application by Speed Post or Registered Post so that it reaches the Principal on or before 25 November 2026.

Direct submission of the application form at the school or through e-mail will not be entertained. The notice does not mention what to write on the envelope.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

All four posts are for male candidates only. The pay is a consolidated monthly remuneration that includes the EPF share of the employee and the employer. Age is counted as on the date of advertisement (05.11.2026).

Warden

• Qualification: B.A/B.Sc from any recognized University.
• Experience: at least 02 years in hostel management.
• Age: 30-60 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Remuneration: Rs. 21,175 per month (including EPF share of Employee & Employer).
• He has to stay in the hostel 24 x 7.
• Preference shall be given to the local candidate, preferably from the block area; if not available, from the other adjacent block of the respective district.
• If an in-service teacher of OAV is willing to discharge the duties of a warden in addition to his/her own duties, he/she may be paid Rs. 3000 per month in addition to his/her own salary, but must stay in the hostel even during the night hours and take all responsibilities.
• Retired teachers, if willing and physically and mentally sound, within the age limit of 62 years as on the date of the engagement, may be engaged as Warden.

Head Cook

• Qualification in the post table: Trained in Cookery. The guidelines add that a candidate trained in cookery will be given preference and due weightage.
• Age: 30 to 40 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Remuneration: Rs. 9,000 per month (including EPF share of Employee & Employer).
• He has to stay in the hostel 24 x 7.
• The cook must be perfectly hygienic in his dress and cooking habits.
• The cook must be well conversant to use LPG.

Assistant Cook

• Qualification in the post table: Experience in Cooking. The guidelines say candidates having experience in cooking and possessing other required characteristics shall be preferred.
• Age: 21 to 32 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Remuneration: Rs. 6,750 per month (including EPF share of Employee & Employer).
• He has to stay in the hostel 24 x 7.
• A maximum of 02 Assistant Cooks can be engaged in one hostel.

Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper

• Qualification: he must have passed the HSC Examination.
• Age: 21 to 32 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Remuneration: Rs. 7,500 per month (including EPF share of Employee & Employer).

Nature and Duration of Engagement

• The engagement is purely contractual and temporary, with consolidated remuneration.
• It is renewable after one year of service subject to satisfactory performance.
• On expiry of a one-year period, a fresh engagement shall be made with a gap of at least one working day, based on the satisfactory performance of the employee.

Enclosures

• Self-attested photocopies of all certificates and mark sheets (HSC onwards) in support of educational qualification.
• Experience certificate (the advertisement asks for experience certificates, if available).
• Caste certificate, residence certificate and valid Employment Registration Card (self-attested copies).
• 02 recent self-attested passport size photographs; one must be affixed to the application form in the box specified.
• Self-attested photo identity card (Aadhaar/Voter Id/PAN-card/DL).

Selection Process

The notice describes the following for selection:

• Preference shall be given to local candidates. For the Warden post, preference goes to the local candidate preferably from the block area, and if not available, from the other adjacent block of the district.
• Head Cook: the committee will conduct physical cooking of some items and evaluate the taste of the dishes, the time taken to prepare them and the hygienic condition of cooking, and select the best. Training in cookery gets preference and due weightage.
• Assistant Cook: candidates with cooking experience and other required characteristics shall be preferred.
