Three Years Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Bio-Statistics/Statistics.
Graduate degree in relevant subject/field with three years post qualification experience OR Postgraduate degree in relevant subject/field.
For Engineering/IT/Computer Science: Four Years Graduate Degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel will be preferred.
Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, R software, JAMOVI etc.
Prior experience in data management and analysis in a community-based project.
All educational qualifications/certificates shall be from recognized Board/University.
Experience shall be from the relevant field/area as required for the project.
Salary/Stipend
The monthly salary for the post of Project Technical Support-III (Statistician) is Rs. 28,000 plus 20% HRA.
The total consolidated monthly remuneration is Rs. 33,600/-.
Consolidated salaries may vary, with no other allowances beyond the agreed salary.
Leave entitlement will be governed by the institutional policy for extramural research projects.
Age Limit
The date of Walk-in Test/Interview (21.01.2026) will be used as the cut-off for calculation of age to consider eligibility.

Selection Process
Mode of selection is Walk-in written test and Interview by a competent selection panel.
The Walk-in written test and/or interview will be conducted in the subject areas of Research Methodology, Human Resources & Financial Management, and Social Science Research with a focus on Anemia, Biostatistics, and Data analysis.
Time of Reporting: All the candidates should report at 09:30 AM on the date of the Walk-in written test and Interview (21.01.2026).
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Interviews may be conducted in person or via videoconferencing as per institute decision (as indicated in terms and conditions).
General Information/Instructions
Vacancy Notification is for recruitment to project posts purely on temporary/contractual basis under ICMR-funded project at AIIMS Bhopal.
Appointments are on a contract basis for an externally funded project, with no claim to regular posts at AIIMS Bhopal or the funding agency.
The duration is project-specific; employment may be extended or terminated at the discretion of the Project Investigator.
The contract automatically expires at the end of the specified period unless mutually renewed. Either party can terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
All experience shall be counted after the date of completion of Minimum Essential Qualification.
Experience from reputed national/international organizations will also be considered.
Job description includes assistance in data collection in the study area, quality assurance, microplanning and supervision, qualitative interviews, training of field workers, procurement and maintenance of tools and equipment, liaison with government officials, financial record-keeping, designing study tools, determining sample size, data entry, data cleaning, statistical analysis, interpretation and dissemination of results, and other tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator.
The employee would need to have a valid driver’s license for a two-wheeler and car for travel related to the project.
