Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed MBBS (including completion of Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC/DCI on or after 01.01.2023 onwards will only be considered.
• Valid Registration with Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) is mandatory before joining, if selected.
• Those who had joined Junior Residency (Non-Academic) at any AIIMS and whose services were terminated on account of unauthorized absence or any other disciplinary/ground, will be ineligible to be considered for these JR (NA) posts even if they otherwise qualify.
• For all eligible candidates, maximum three terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) are allowed (depending upon concerned department assessment and availability of posts).
• Any AIIMS graduates will be considered to be allotted post on preferential basis.
• Candidates who have already done three terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) either at AIIMS or outside will not be considered.
• Experience in Army Services, Central Health Services, Private Nursing Homes and Private Practice will be taken as equivalent to Junior Residency (Non-Academic).
• Relaxation in age shall be as per Government of India norms with maximum permissible relaxation: SC/ST candidates 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years, PWBD (General) 10 years, PWBD (OBC) 13 years, PWBD (SC/ST) 15 years.

Salary/Stipend

• Junior Resident (Non-Academic) will be in Level-10 of pay matrix under 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA.
• The tenure period for the post is up to six months.

Age Limit 

• Relaxation in age shall be as per Government of India norms.
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation.
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation.
• Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities (PWBD) General Category: 10 years relaxation.
• Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities (PWBD) OBC Category: 13 years relaxation.
• Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities (PWBD) SC/ST Category: 15 years relaxation.

• General/OBC Category: Rs.1180 (including 18% GST) + transaction charges.
• EWS Category: Rs.944 (including 18% GST) + transaction charges.
• SC/ST/PWD Category: No application fees.

Selection Process

• The Junior Residency (Non-Academic) will be provided first to all the AIIMS Bibinagar MBBS graduates who fulfill the eligibility criteria.
• The merit for AIIMS Bibinagar MBBS graduates will be made on the basis of their aggregate marks in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Professional examinations.
• All Junior Resident posts which remain unfilled after allotment to AIIMS Bibinagar MBBS graduates will be offered to other candidates.
• The merit order of non-AIIMS Bibinagar MBBS graduates will be on the basis of rank obtained in the INI-CET PG Entrance Examination for January 2026 session.
• Candidates who have not appeared in INI-CET PG Entrance Examination January 2026 session will be ranked in merit after those who have appeared, and combined merit list will be prepared based on percentage of marks (MBBS or MCI screening exam percentage, as applicable).
• The interview/counselling will be done strictly by combined merit list; in case of absentee, the next candidate in merit will be considered.
• PWD candidates will be considered against posts in the category in which they have applied (UR/EWS/SC/ST/OBC) and last posts in the respective category will be offered to PWD candidates, in case PWD candidate is not able to make on his/her own merit, subject to medical fitness certification by duly constituted Board.
• The number of vacancies indicated against each post/category is provisional and may vary at the time of selection.

General Information/Instructions

• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification and incomplete applications will not be considered and will be rejected.
• The prescribed qualification is minimum and merely possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
• Late applications/ incomplete applications in any respect will be summarily rejected.
• The appointee shall be on whole time appointment of AIIMS Bibinagar and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise, and shall not engage in private practice during the period of contract.
• All Junior Residents will need to work in emergency on rotation as needed and may work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute as per discretion of MS/Dean/Executive Director.
• The appointees shall be granted leave in accordance with instructions issued by Government of India from time to time and shall not be entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Seniority, Promotion etc. available to regular Government servants.
• If an appointee wishes to apply somewhere else or resign within the first 3 months of joining, then he/she will not be issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) nor any relieving letter or experience certificate.
• The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law and must abide by rules of conduct and discipline of the Institute.
• If any information or declaration is found false or if any information is willfully suppressed, the candidate will be liable to be removed from service and action will be taken as deemed fit by Competent Authority.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to amend, cancel and change this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice, and all disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of High Court, Hyderabad (Telangana).
• Candidates working in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSU should apply through proper channel and will not be permitted for examination/interview without No Objection Certificate from the employer.
• On selection, candidates will be given one month time to join the post at AIIMS Bibinagar and in exceptional situations extension may be granted by the Competent Authority.
• The appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary without assigning any reason.
• JR at AIIMS Bibinagar cannot leave/resign before three months of Junior Residency after joining; in case of resignation before this, no working experience certificate will be issued and one month’s notice/pay & allowances will be applicable, with salary for the month of acceptance of resignation forfeited.
