Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. If a suitable candidate is not found for Additional Professor or Associate Professor posts, such posts will be downgraded to Assistant Professor level in the same category and may be filled on a contractual basis pending a subsequent regular advertisement. Reservations do not apply to posts filled on deputation basis. As per Government of India rules, unfilled EWS vacancies will not be carried forward as backlog - other category candidates may apply provisionally, subject to being considered only if the EWS post remains otherwise unfilled.

The qualifying degree must be in the subject of the post applied for. Experience must be obtained in a department recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the award of the qualifying degree, or experience recognised by the NMC as equivalent. The period of experience, wherever prescribed, is counted only after obtaining the prescribed qualification. Relaxation of one year's Teaching/Research experience is available for candidates applying to posts reserved for SC/ST, as per DoPT Rules/Guidelines. AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Recruitment 2026-27 Selection Process
- Based on bio-data, the Search-cum-Selection Committee may shortlist candidates for interview.
- Candidates called for interview must produce all relevant original documents (self-attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates, etc.) along with the printed application for verification.
- Candidates already working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institutions must submit a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of interview.

AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Recruitment 2026-27 Important Instructions
- Applicants must satisfy themselves regarding eligibility and must fulfil all eligibility criteria on or before 13.10.2026 - failing which the application will be rejected.
- Applicants must fill all details carefully; requests for change in any information after submission will not be considered.
- Valid NCL-OBC certificates must be issued during the period 01.04.2026 to 31.03.2027 - certificates issued outside this window will not be considered valid for this advertisement. The certificate must be in the DoP&T-prescribed format (O.M. No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res.) dated 30.05.2014, and further clarification dated 31.03.2016) and must clearly show the candidate does not belong to the Creamy Layer.
