The total number of vacancies for AIIMS Jodhpur Project Research Scientist-II Recruitment 2026 is 01 post. This recruitment is for the ICMR Research Project titled "Implementation and scaling up of model to achieve universal coverage with physician ascertained cause of death at district-level in India" under Principal Investigator Dr. Pankaja Ravi Raghav, Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine & Family Medicine, AIIMS, Jodhpur.

Eligibility Criteria 

1. Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

• First Class Post Graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post qualification experience or PhD
• OR
• Second Class Post Graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with PhD and three years' experience

Desirable Qualification:

• Previous experience of working in community based projects
• Proficiency in Hindi and English language
• Experience in Verbal Autopsy
• Experience in Mixed Methods Research

Note: All educational professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University and full-time.

2. Age Limit

Selection Process

Salary/Stipend 

The monthly salary for Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) 

• Consolidated Salary: ₹67,000 + 20% HRA (as admissible)
• Note: The salary is a consolidated sum without any other benefits and it is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, etc. of the candidates

• Post may increase/decrease as per requirement and at the sole discretion of the Principal Investigator, AIIMS, Jodhpur
• All educational professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University and full-time
• The experience requirement specified should be experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications required for the post
• Persons working in Govt. or Public Sector undertaking should produce a "No Objection Certificate" at the time of the Interview
• No TA/DA will be admissible to appear in the interview
• This position will be purely on a temporary/contractual basis for the specified period of time and based on the project
• The salary is a consolidated sum without any other benefits and it is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, etc. of the candidates
• Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
• Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects may be admissible for experienced and skilled persons on a case-to-case basis (only applicable for ICMR Project)
