Candidates must meet the following essential qualification for AIIMS Kalyani Junior Resident (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2026:

  • MBBS from an institution recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The candidate must have completed the compulsory internship and must produce the internship completion certificate and registration under any State Medical Council.
  • Candidates who have passed MBBS (including internship) not earlier than 3 (three) years before the start date of Junior Residency, i.e., 24th August 2026, will be considered.

Experience in Army services, Central Health Services, Private Nursing Homes, and Private practice is treated as equivalent to Junior Residency (Non-Academic) for this purpose.

Note: A term of JR (Non-Academic) is 6 months; if a candidate joins and leaves at any point, it is counted as one full term irrespective of the actual duration worked. A separate application is required for each term.
