Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have 10+2 in Science along with Bachelor/Diploma in Biological Sciences (Cell Biology & Molecular Biology, Genetics, Zoology, Microbiology, Physiology) or Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/MLT). A minimum of 2–3 years of experience from a Government/Autonomous/PSU or recognized organisation is desirable. Candidates should be conversant with computer applications and have knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word. Conversance in Bengali and Hindi is desirable.

• The assignments are purely on contract basis for a period of one year (which may be extended as per approval from competent authority/DHR–ICMR Young Faculty PhD scheme).
• These appointments will not vest any right to claim for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Kalyani/DHR–ICMR or continued temporary appointment.
• The contract will automatically expire on completion of the stipulated time or earlier in case of withdrawal of support by the funding agency; temporary appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
• Leave entitlement will be governed in terms of the DHR–ICMR Young Faculty PhD scheme leave policy as amended from time to time.
• No hostel or any other accommodation will be provided by the institute.
• Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
• Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected; candidates called for final interview will be based on the discretion of the Screening Committee.
• The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited; appointees must conform to rules of conduct and discipline applicable to institute employees.
• The competent authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to the advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.

Salary/Stipend
