Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject/field (Life Sciences) and three years post-qualification experience or PG in a relevant subject/field (Life Sciences).
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in Research Project and Research Laboratory.
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Application.
• Nature of Post: Temporary & Contractual basis.
• Place of Posting: Department of Nephrology, AIIMS, Nagpur.
• Project Duration: One year; the duration of the appointment will initially be one year and is likely to be extended until the project is completed.

Salary / Stipend

• Salary for Project Technical Support - III: 28000 + 20% Basic pay (HRA) [consolidated].
• Stipend/consolidated emoluments of the project positions may vary from time to time.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit for Project Technical Support - III: Not exceeding 35 years.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is up to a maximum period of five years.
• Age relaxation for OBC candidates is up to a maximum period of three years.
• Age relaxation up to five years may be granted to deserving candidates having experience of working in Government Research Organization on a case-to-case basis by DG, ICMR/Head of the Institution.
• Age will be reckoned from the last date of notification.

Selection Process

General Information / Instructions

• Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/field from an Institution of repute, and experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
• Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee selection.
• Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organization/ICMR Project or any funded project/Clinical Trials are not eligible.
• Selected candidates will have to produce original documents of their qualification, age, and experience before joining, and if they are not found entitled, their selection will be cancelled immediately.
• Candidates are advised to visit the Institute’s website for any change, result, or other information.
• Above post is contractual for the duration offered and may or may not be renewed subject to satisfactory performance and requirement.
• No TA/DA will be paid either for interview in person or for joining the post, and candidates have to arrange transport and accommodation themselves.
• Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
• Appointment on project is purely temporary and candidates shall have no claim for regular appointment either in AIIMS, Nagpur or ICMR or any organization of Government of India.
• Leave shall be as per the ICMR policy for the project staff.
• The number of vacancies may vary according to the requirement at a later stage.
• Addendum or corrigendum of this advertisement will not be published in newspaper and candidates should refer to the Institute website for updates.
• Any matter for which no specific instruction has been given shall be decided by the Selection Committee and the decision shall be final and binding on the candidate.
• Selected candidate should report within a week; any relaxation regarding joining will be decided by the Selection Committee.
• The appointment can be terminated with one-month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
• The appointee shall be on whole time appointment for the project concerned and shall not accept any other assignment paid or otherwise and shall not engage in private practice of any kind during the period of contract.
• The appointee shall perform the duties as assigned, and the competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required without extra or additional allowances.
• Extension on the job may be given if there is further requirement or extension of the project depending upon the previous work performance evaluation report.
