AIIMS Rajkot Senior Resident Vacancy 2026

AIIMS Rajkot follows 4% horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities according to Government of India rules.

Department-wise Educational Qualification

The postgraduate medical degree or equivalent qualification must be obtained from an institution recognized by the NMC or NDC. A Ph.D. must also be obtained from a recognized institution.

For Anatomy and Biochemistry, both medical candidates possessing an MBBS degree and eligible non-medical candidates may apply.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the Senior Resident posts is 45 years. Category-wise relaxation is available as follows:

AIIMS Rajkot Senior Resident Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs.1,29,984 per month.

The appointment will initially be for six months or until a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The appointment is full-time, and private practice of any kind is prohibited.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

These minimum qualifying standards apply to the written test and the final weighted score. Where no written test is conducted, the standards apply to the interview score.

• SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwBD or Ex-serviceman certificate, where applicable
• Official Gazette or notarized affidavit in case of a change of name

Candidates must bring all applicable documents in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Failure to produce an essential document may result in cancellation of candidature.
