Eligibility Criteria
- Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences such as Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Biotechnology from a recognized University / Institute, including the integrated PG degrees, with five years post qualification experience or PhD + two years post qualification experience.
- For Engineering / IT / CS / Life Science – Four Years Graduate Degree with five years experience post qualification or PG degree with three years post qualification experience or PhD.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly emoluments for Project Research Scientist - III (Non - medical): Rs. 78000 + HRA as admissible.
- Emolument details of research personnel mentioned shall be applicable only if the candidate meets the educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.

- Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of the post as per ICMR and Anna University norms in the ICMR, NOHM-sanctioned research project.
- The project is under ICMR-NOHM, Govt. of India, under the supervision of Dr. Sangita Venkataraman, Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai-25, for a period of one year, extendable based on performance till the end of the project.
- Interested candidates may apply for the position by sending their filled-in application form in the prescribed format enclosed along with their curriculum vitae.
