Essential Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc./ M.Tech. in any of the following disciplines:
  • Biological Sciences
  • Pharmaceutical Science
  • Chemistry
  • Related Life Sciences disciplines

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling skills
• Experience in cell culture and tissue culture techniques
• Laboratory experience in biological or pharmaceutical research
• Previous experience in cancer research or drug development

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years as on the closing date of advertisement (17-02-2026)
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India regulations:
  • SC/ST Category: 5 years relaxation (Upper age limit up to 40 years)
  • OBC Category: 3 years relaxation (Upper age limit up to 38 years)
  • Other applicable relaxations as per GoI norms

Salary & Compensation

Project Technical Support III

• Monthly Stipend: Rs. 28,000/-
• HRA (House Rent Allowance): As per Institute norms
• Total Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA
• Nature: Consolidated payment for temporary contractual position
• Duration: For the project tenure up to 04th December 2029 (subject to annual performance review)

Job Description & Responsibilities

Expected Responsibilities

• Laboratory Support:
  • Assist in day-to-day laboratory operations and maintenance
  • Support in cell culture and tissue culture work
  • Maintain laboratory safety and hygiene standards
  • Manage laboratory equipment and tools
• Research Support:
  • Assist principal investigator and research team in project activities
  • Support in conducting experiments and analysis
  • Help in data collection and documentation
  • Assist in preparation of research samples
• Animal Handling (if required):
  • Handle laboratory animals according to institutional guidelines
  • Maintain proper care and records of animals
  • Assist in animal-based experiments
  • Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations
• Documentation & Records:
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
  • Prepare reports and progress updates
  • Maintain confidentiality of research data
• General Support:
  • Perform other duties as assigned by principal investigator
  • Contribute to smooth functioning of the research project
  • Support in organizing seminars or research discussions

Selection Procedure

1. Stage 1: Application Screening

Employment Terms

• No Right to Appointment: Selected candidates will have no right for appointment against any ARI or funding agency's permanent/regular posts
• Project Assignment: Candidates may be assigned to another project based on institutional requirement

Important Terms

• No Travel Allowance: No TA (Travel Allowance) is admissible for interviews or any other purpose
