Candidates appearing in the final semester examination of the qualifying course for Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer or Sub-Treasury Officer may also apply, but must submit proof of having passed the qualifying exam in original on or before the date of interview fixed by the Commission, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview. For Assistant Director (Prosecution) and Assistant Public Prosecutor, applicants must mandatorily submit their 7-year experience certificate (or the Magistrate's appointment order, as applicable) while filling the online application, failing which their candidature will be rejected.

APPSC Group A B Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹200/- through online mode only. PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.

The Concerned Subject for Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer and Sub-Treasury Officer is any one of Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics (Paper-I and Paper-II). For Assistant Director (Prosecution) and Assistant Public Prosecutor, Paper-I covers Core Criminal Laws and Paper-II covers Constitutional Law and Other Special Legislations.
To qualify for the viva-voce, a candidate must score an aggregate of 33% of total marks in the written examination, with at least 20% in each paper/subject. PwBD candidates must score an aggregate of 20%, with at least 10% in each paper/subject. Around 3 times the number of advertised vacancies are called for interview.

This Recruitment Test serves only as a Screening Test - marks obtained in it are not counted toward the final merit. Of the qualified candidates, 12 times the number of advertised posts (or as decided by the Commission) are admitted to the Written Examination.

- Admission at all stages of examination (Recruitment Test, Written Examination, or Viva-Voce) is purely provisional; any information found wrong at any stage leads to cancellation of candidature
- Candidates are solely responsible for proving their eligibility with respect to the advertised qualification criteria
- If found ineligible during verification prior to interview, a candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview even if an admit card has been issued
- PwBD candidates in the Blindness, Locomotor disability (Both Arms affected), and Cerebral Palsy categories can avail the Scribe facility; other PwBD categories must submit a certificate of physical limitation from a Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent
- PwBD candidates must submit a disability certificate issued by an authorized medical board as per Section 57 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, issued before the last date of application (12 October 2026)
- Government employees seeking age relaxation must submit their Appointment Order as proof of 3 years of continuous regular service, along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Department
- Eligible candidates must produce all required documents in original at the time of document verification, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview/viva-voce
