BEL Project Engineer-I Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Project Engineer (PE)-I: 4 Years B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) with Pass Class from a recognized University/Institution in Electronics: Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/Telecommunication.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant post qualification industrial experience.

- Upper age limit as on 01.05.2026: 32 Years.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules:
- Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer): 3 Years

- Persons with Benchmark Disability having minimum 40% disability: 10 Years
BEL Project Engineer-I Salary 2026
- Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 45,000/- for 2nd year, Rs. 50,000/- for 3rd year and Rs. 55,000/- for 4th year.
- Additional Rs. 12,000/- per year for expenses like insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance etc.
- Medical Insurance cover for Rs. 2 lakhs per annum and Life Cover Insurance for Rs. 5 lakhs per annum required.
- Area allowance at the rate of 10% of the consolidated remuneration for those posted outside Bengaluru.
- Lunch allowance of Rs. 150/- per day for those detailed on Company's work outside factory premises for 3 hours or more.
- Retention Bonus of Rs. 25,000/- for every completed year, total Rs. 1,00,000/- at the end of 4 years.
