Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Junior Resident (M.B.B.S):

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) Degree from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized university
• Must have completed internship within the period of 10-02-2024 to 09-02-2026 (at the time of interview)
• Internship Completion Certificate must be produced at the time of interview

Registration Requirements

• Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration is Compulsory
• Candidates must have valid DMC registration certificate at the time of interview
• Candidates who have applied for DMC registration and have only a receipt at the time of interview should submit valid DMC Registration Certificate within 45 days of joining, failing which candidature will be cancelled

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Determination Date: As on the interview date (10-02-2026)
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped candidates will be as per government rules and norms

Special Provisions

In case of non-availability of fresh MBBS graduates, the following candidates may be considered:

• Post-graduate doctors interested to serve as Junior Resident
• Junior residents who have completed one year of Junior Residency may appear again for selection (only if fresh graduates are not available)

Documents Required for Interview

Candidates must bring the following documents to the interview (both photographs and attested copies of originals):

• 1. Date of Birth Certificate: 10th Class Certificate (S.S.C./Matriculation)
• 2. DMC Registration Certificate: Valid registration with Delhi Medical Council (or receipt if application pending)
• 3. MBBS Degree Certificate: Original and attested copy
• 4. Internship Completion Certificate: Proof of completed internship (must be within 10-02-2024 to 09-02-2026)
• 5. Attempt Certificate: Showing number of attempts taken for MBBS examination
• 6. Mark Sheets: All mark sheets from all 4 professional exam years
• 7. Valid Photo ID: Aadhar Card, Voter Card, Driving Licence, or any valid government-approved photo identification
• 8. Passport-size Photographs: Recent color photographs

Important Instructions for Walk-in Interview

• Candidates should reach the interview venue well before 09:30 AM for document verification
