Vacancy Details

Note: Walk-in interviews will be conducted every Friday (except holidays) until the position is filled. Seats are reserved for differently-abled candidates as per Government rules (5%).

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• MBBS from a recognized university/institution
• Postgraduate Degree/DNB/Diploma in ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) from a recognized university/institution
• Must have valid registration with Delhi Medical Council in both MBBS and PG ENT qualification on the day of interview
• Should NOT have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institute (including regular or ad-hoc periods)

Alternative Qualification (If PG candidates not available)

• Non-PG candidates with minimum 2 years' experience in ENT in Government Hospital may be considered

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of interview
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates
• Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC candidates (Non-Creamy Layer belonging to Delhi only)

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Online Registration: Candidates must register online using the provided Google Form link (https://forms.gle/yrddTVt6NGdKYQRDA) and print the auto-generated prefilled application form.
• Walk-in Appearance: Candidates must report on the scheduled Friday between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM at the Office of Medical Director, BSAH Hospital with printed registration form and required documents.
• Document Verification: All original documents will be verified at the time of interview including DMC registration, MBBS and PG ENT degrees, DOB proof, and other supporting documents.
• Personal Interview: Candidates will appear before the interview board for assessment of qualifications, experience, and suitability for the Senior Resident ENT position.
• Merit-Based Selection: Selection will be purely based on merit list prepared from the interviews.
• Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per hospital standards.

Salary/ Stipend

• Pay Scale: As per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) guidelines as adopted by Government of NCT of Delhi
• Initial Tenure: 89 days initially (or till regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier)
• Extension: Can be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years based on satisfactory Work & Conduct report from HOD
• Total Senior Residency Period: Maximum 3 years including any previous service as Senior Resident in any government/government-aided institution
• Termination: Contract can be terminated by either party by giving 7 days' notice without assigning any reason
• Note: No TA/DA will be provided for participating in the selection process

• Step 2 - Fill Form: Fill in all required details carefully: name, date of birth, gender, DMC registration number, qualifications, work experience, publications, etc.
• Step 3 - Submit & Print: After submitting the form, an auto-generated email will be sent with a prefilled PDF application form. Print this form.
• Step 4 - Prepare Documents: Bring the following documents in original and self-attested photocopy format:
  • Prefilled printed application form with one passport-size photograph
  • DMC registration certificate (MBBS)
  • DMC registration certificate (PG ENT Degree/DNB/Diploma)
  • 10th class certificate (for proof of date of birth)
  • MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets
  • PG degree/DNB/Diploma certificate and mark sheets
  • Attempt certificate (for DOB verification)
  • Experience certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/Driving License
  • Indexed journal publications (if any)
• Step 5 - Report for Interview: Report at the Office of Medical Director, BSAH Hospital, Sector VI, Rohini, Delhi-110085 on any Friday between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM
• Step 6 - Interview: Candidates will be interviewed and selected based on merit list
• Step 7 - Joining: Selected candidates must join duties within 5 days of result declaration or after receiving email confirmation

Important Notes:

• Only online registration will be accepted; no physical applications
• Entry will NOT be allowed after 10:30 AM
• DMC registration certificate must be updated with the requisite PG qualification on the date of interview
• Acknowledgment of DMC will NOT be accepted; only final registration certificate is valid
• Any false information or omission will result in disqualification/termination of appointment
