Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential qualification: Doctorate in Physical or Chemical Sciences (preferably in Natural/Nano Science and Technology) from a recognised university.
  • OR Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/relevant areas from a recognised university.
  • Desirable: Broad areas in nanoscience, nanomaterials, and soft matter, including energy materials, synthesis and applications of organic materials, sensing and diagnostic applications, polymer and interface science, polymer nanocomposites, and nanomaterials for energy storage, biosensors, and electrocatalysis.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D in academic, industrial, or S&T organisations.

Age Limit 

  • Maximum age limit: 30 years (relaxable as per Government of India norms and terms mentioned in the advertisement).

Selection Process

  • All applications received before the closing date will undergo scrutiny and shortlisting based on eligibility and research credentials.

General Information/Instructions

  • CeNS follows Government of India norms for reservation in recruitment for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD categories. Candidates must upload valid certificates issued by competent authorities in the prescribed format.
  • Applicants must be citizens of India.
  • Experience must be in regular full-time positions with a structured pay level in recognised organisations.
  • Incomplete applications or those submitted without the required documents will be summarily rejected.
  • Preference shall be given to candidates who have completed any one of the qualifying degrees (UG/PG/PhD) from an Institute of repute.
  • Candidates with an exceptionally brilliant academic and research record with an ongoing or approved externally funded research projects are also encouraged to apply and will be considered for age relaxation up to 10 years over and above those prescribed in RR.
  • The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of online applications.
  • Only relevant experience gained after acquiring the minimum qualifying degree will be considered.
