Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification
- B.F.Sc / B.Sc Aquaculture / Marine Biology or other equivalent branch of biological science.
Desirable Qualification
- M.F.Sc or M.Sc. with experiences in seagrass restoration / seaweed farming will be preferred.
- Skilled in swimming will be given preference.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 45 years (with relaxation as per rules) as on the date of the interview.
Pay and Tenure
The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly emolument of Rs. 30,000/-. The position is purely contractual, non-regular, time-bound, and co-terminus with the project for five years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Selected candidates cannot claim any regular appointments at the institute.

Important Instructions
- Candidates must send all original certificates from matriculation in scanned form through the Google form on or before 17.11.2026; without these, applicants will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Candidates should produce one valid ID proof at the time of the interview.
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
- The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the appointment without assigning any reason at any time.
- If any near or distant relatives are employees of ICAR-CMFRI, the candidate must declare their name, designation, nature of duties, and relationship in writing, and furnish the declaration detailed in Annexure-II.
- Candidates must furnish the declarations in ANNEXURE-I and ANNEXURE-II duly signed and submit them through the Google form on or before 17.11.2026.
- Candidates should produce a No Objection Certificate from their present employer, if applicable.
- Candidates having marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA must produce an approved conversion table or formula at the time of reporting for the interview.
