Selection Process

Selection is by a virtual interview. The office uses the details you give in the form to set your interview time and send you the virtual link. A selection committee does the selecting. The Collector of Dakshin Bastar Dantewada approves the committee and it applies the criteria it sets. The decision of the committee chairperson and members is final.

Service Conditions

• The appointment follows the Chhattisgarh Civil Service (Contract Appointment) Rules 2012. Leave and other benefits also follow these 2012 rules.
• The job is fully temporary. Either side can end it with one month's notice under Rule 12 of the Chhattisgarh (Temporary and Quasi-Permanent) Rules. If the office ends it without notice, it pays salary for at least the one-month notice period.
• After appointment you must sign a 1-year bond. If you break it, Rs. 5,00,000/- will be recovered from you.
• You must live at the headquarters of your place of posting. Commuting from anywhere else is not allowed, and your service can be ended if you are found doing it.
• You have no right to a transfer, and no claim to a regular state government post.
• You can raise no claim or objection during or after the service period, and you get no pension or other payment when the service ends.
• Your service can be ended at once for unsatisfactory work or misconduct.
• When you join, you must give a fitness certificate from the District Medical Board. If it says you are unfit, the appointment can be cancelled.
