The total number of apprenticeship positions for CSIR-NAL Apprenticeship Trainee Recruitment 2026 is 47 posts, distributed as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for CSIR-NAL Apprenticeship Trainee 2026

1. Educational Qualification

• Graduate Apprenticeship Trainee:
  • Degree in Engineering/Technology (regular full-time) granted by a recognized/approved University/Institution in relevant disciplines.
• Diploma Apprenticeship Trainee:
  • Three years Diploma in Engineering/Technology (regular full-time) granted by a recognized/approved University/Institution in relevant disciplines.

2. Additional Conditions

• Eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology must have passed within the last five years.
• Candidates already undergoing or who have undergone Apprenticeship Training and/or having working experience of one year or more are not permitted to attend the walk-in interview.
• Final year students and those awaiting results are not eligible to be considered.
• Candidates must be registered in the NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in and the enrolment number must be filled in the application form.

3. Age Limit

• Age Limit: Age limits will be followed as per the existing Apprenticeship Rules.
• The date of determining qualification shall be the date of walk-in interview.

4. Nationality

Reservation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process for CSIR-NAL Apprenticeship Trainee 2026

Candidates will be selected based on the following process:

• Walk-in interview for eligible Graduate and Diploma Apprenticeship Trainee applicants as per the specified schedule.
• Reporting, registration and document verification at the CSIR-NAL RAB Meeting Complex within the stipulated reporting time.
• Candidates who report after 09.30 AM will not be allowed for registration.
• Only candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria and properly registered in NATS will be considered for appearing in the walk-in interview.
• No Travelling Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.

7. Ensure you reach the venue before 09.30 AM for registration; late candidates will not be allowed.

• No Travelling Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates must bring Aadhaar Card or any Government-issued ID card with photograph, duly filled in application form, latest passport-size photograph, and all original certificates with one set of photocopies.
• Reservation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
• Candidates already undergoing/undergone Apprenticeship Training or having working experience of one year or more are not permitted to attend.

Salary/Stipend

• Graduate Apprenticeship Trainee: ₹12,300/- per month stipend.
• Diploma Apprenticeship Trainee: ₹10,900/- per month stipend.
• The period of training will be one year from the date of joining.
