CURAJ Project Staff Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) has invited applications for the temporary post of Project Staff (SRF/JRF) for research project undertaken in the Department of Biochemistry under the supervision of Dr. Vishvanath Tiwari. Candidates applying for the post require a Master’s degree or equivalent in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life-Sciences or allied subject with a strong academic record and a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA for JRF, while two (2) years of research experience is mandatory for SRF in addition to the qualifications mentioned. The prescribed fellowship is Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA for SRF or Rs. 37,000 + 10% HRA for JRF (if suitable SRF candidate is not available). Who Can Apply

Candidates must possess the educational qualifications and requirements prescribed for the Project Staff (SRF/JRF) position:

• Essential Qualification for JRF: Master’s degree or equivalent in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life-Sciences or allied subject with a strong academic record (with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA).
• Essential Qualification for SRF: Master’s degree or equivalent in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life-Sciences or allied subject with a strong academic record (with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA), plus two (2) years of research experience is mandatory.
• Desirable Qualifications: 1. Working experience in Gene Cloning & Expression, Drug Designing, and Molecular biology Animal Cell Culture, is desirable. 2. Preference will be given to SRF candidate, if found suitable.

Pay and Tenure

The fellowship is Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA (SRF) or Rs. 37,000 + 10% HRA (JRF)- (if suitable SRF candidate is not available). Bachelor accommodation in the university may be provided on a payment basis but subject to availability. The project duration is for three years and purely on temporary basis as stipulated by the existing rules of the ANRF and Central University of Rajasthan. The appointment shall be co-terminus with the duration of the project. The appointment shall be initially for a period of one year, renewable every year depending on the performance of project fellow.
