Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate from a university established by law in India
- Essential Qualification: D.Ed (Special Education) or equivalent diploma recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as per Uttarakhand Government Primary Education (Teacher) Service Rules 2012 amended 2025, passed Teacher Eligibility Test-I conducted by State/Central Government as per guidelines of National Council for Teacher Education
- Desirable Qualification: Permanent resident of Uttarakhand State, or registered in any district employment office of Uttarakhand, or as per Uttarakhand Government orders dated 07.02.2019 and 28.06.2019 regarding education from recognized institutions in Uttarakhand for Group C posts

General Information / Instructions
Note: Horizontal reservation as per Uttarakhand State Government orders issued from time to time will be admissible.
Reserved category candidates and other such categories will be entitled to reservation as per State Government orders in force at the time of recruitment.
Candidates who are not found eligible as per the conditions of the advertisement will have their candidature cancelled and no claim for appointment will be entertained.
All columns of the application form must be filled clearly and completely by the candidates and no column should be left incomplete or blank. In case of ambiguity, suspicion or misleading, the application form will be rejected. If the application form is not submitted in the prescribed format, it will be rejected.
A male candidate will not be eligible for appointment to any post in the service if he has more than one wife living or a female candidate who has married a man who already has a wife living: Provided that the Government may exempt any person from the operation of this rule if it is satisfied that there are special reasons for doing so.
How to Apply
- Candidates will apply on the prescribed format. Along with the application form, attach self-attested legible photocopies of desired educational certificates (in the details of educational and training qualifications in the application form, clearly mention the marks obtained and total marks in theoretical and practical subjects separately), and a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 50/- postage stamp.
- The checking of the marks in the application forms of the candidates and the attached educational/training and other certificates will be done with the original records of the concerned, the date of which will be informed separately through notice.
- Completed application forms will be accepted by speed post till 05:00 PM on 09 January 2026 at the office of District Education Officer (Primary Education), Bageshwar. No application received after the due date and time will be accepted. Applications received by ordinary post/courier/hand will not be accepted in any case. On the envelope of the application, boldly write 'Application for Assistant Primary Teacher (Special Education) related district name with advertisement number'.
