Age relaxation: The relaxation in age limit is admissible to candidates of Haryana Domicile only. Upper age limit is relaxable as admissible under rules/ registrations/ instructions of HPUs/ Haryana Government.

Qualification

• Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category/ other category candidates and 55% marksin respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile
• Full-time Master of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category/ other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile, in the Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering disciplines,
• In case of candidate having full time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with marks less than 60% for General/Other candidates & lessthan 55% for SC category candidates of Haryana domicile.
• Must have passed Hindi/ Sanskrit upto matric standard orin HigherEducation.

• Pay Scale: Rs.53100- 167800 in pay matrix level-9

Vacancy Details

Selection Process

• The candidates who have acquired the essential qualification as mentioned above and must have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE2022/ GATE-2023/ GATE-2024/ GATE-2025) asthe case may be, conducted by respective NT/ MScin corresponding paperi.e. Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Civil Engineering (CE) shall only be eligible to be considered forselection.
• The minimum qualifying cut-off marks in respect of GATE-2022/ GATE-2023/GATE-2024/GATE-2025 shall be as declared by GATE Organizing Institute (respective NT/ MSc) for respective GATE paper/ discipline/ category
• The selection process consist of valid score of GATE (out of 1000) obtained in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023 / GATE-2024 / GATE-2025 score of GATE-2022 (as one time measure). No interview will be carried out for the posts being advertised by HPUs. The score of GATE- 2021 or priorwill not be entertained.
• The applicant would require to fill up thevalid score of GATE (outof 1000) obtained in GATE-2023 / GATE-2024 / GATE-2025 or score of GATE- 2022 (as one time measure), whichever is higher during online submission of the application
• Besides this, Educational qualifications must be from a recognized Institution/ University/ Board.
• In case the GATE score (out of 1000) of two or more candidates is equal then candidate older in age would be considered higher in merit. Further, in case age is also equal then candidate having more marks in essential qualification would be considered higherin merit.
• The selected candidatesfor the post of Assistant Engineer will produce Medical Fitness certificate required for first entry into service from the Civil Surgeon of any district in Haryana State before joining the services.

• The application fees are to be paid online through electronic mode i.e. Debitcard/ Credit card/ Netbanking
• Online application complete in all respects should be submitted within stipulated period starting from 29-09-2025 to 29-10-2025.
• The application form received through Courier or any other means will not be entertained in any case and will be rejected. HARD Copy of online
• Application form is not required to be submitted.
• It is made clear that any delay in submission of online application form by the due date shall be sole responsibility of the candidate.
• The candidate should retain printout of online application form alongwith application fee transaction for future reference and same will have to be brought by the candidates at the time of verification/ checking of the documents.
• Online application that are incomplete and without prescribed fee will be rejected straightaway and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained

Candidates must upload scanned copies of all prescribed certificates and documents when submitting the DHBVN AE online application form. Applications without the correct enclosures will be rejected.

List of Mandatory Documents

• Proof of Date of Birth: Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate.
• Proof of Essential Qualification: Degree certificate or final year/semester marksheet.
• CGPA/OGPA/DGPA Conversion Proof: Official norms from university/institute showing conversion to percentage.
• Valid GATE Score Card: GATE-2022/2023/2024/2025 scorecard issued by the authorized body.
• SC Certificate (if applicable): Must follow Haryana State Government instruction No. 22/163/2024-5HR-II dated 13.11.2024.
• BC-A (NCL)/BC-B (NCL) Certificate (if applicable): As per state government instructions dated 17.11.2021, 22.03.2022, and 16.07.2024; certificate must be issued after 01.04.2025, based on FY 2024-25 income—OBC certificates are not valid.
• EWS Certificate (if applicable): Based on FY 2024-25 income, issued after 01.04.2025 and valid for 2025-26.
• Other Certificates: Domicile, PwD, Ex-serviceman, and other relevant certificates as specified.
