Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation, or Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 60 % marks. The degree must be full-time from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Experience: IRSSE/ Ex-IRSSE Officers with varied experience in Signalling and Telecommunication department of Indian Railways/ Govt. organizations/ PSUs/ Metro’s and conversant with functioning in computerized environment. Officer should be free from D&AR and Vigilance angle. Total 18 (Eighteen) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive level in Govt. organization/ PSUs/ Metro’s.
- Pay Scale Eligibility (Deputation/ Direct Recruitment): Working on regular basis in CDA Pay scale at Level 14 (Rs.144200–218200) or higher, OR IDA pay scale of Rs. 120000 – 280000/- or higher (including deputation service). Officers in Non-functional SAG at Level-14 may also apply.
- Pay Scale Eligibility (PRCE): Working in/ retired from CDA Pay scale at Level 14 (Rs.144200–218200) or higher, OR IDA pay scale of Rs. 120000 – 280000/- or higher, with 18 years’ Gazetted/Executive service.
Salary/ Stipend
- Direct Recruitment: ₹120000-280000/- IDA + Perks, Lease/HRA, Medical benefits, EPF, Gratuity and Insurance, etc., as per extant rules of the Corporation.
- Deputation: Parent Department pay plus deputation allowance, as applicable under relevant rules.
- Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE): Rs. 1,82,500/- per month (For Delhi/NCR) OR Rs. 2,00,800/- per month (For other than Delhi/NCR). Consolidated fee restricted to emoluments for those retired from higher grade. Based on last substantive grade (MACP not considered).
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- Direct Recruitment: Maximum 58 years
- Deputation: Maximum 55 years
- Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE): Minimum 55 years & Maximum 62 years

- Direct Recruitment and Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis: Personal Interview and Medical fitness examination (Executive/Technical category)
- Candidates must qualify/pass the Screening Process and Medical Examination (as applicable). Decision of the Corporation is final.
General Information / Instructions
- Job Location: Initial posting in Delhi/NCR and/or Jaipur. Liable to be posted/transferred anywhere in India or abroad.
- Normal retirement age in DMRC: 60 years.
- Deputation tenure: Normally 5 years, extendable to 7 years in special cases or till superannuation.
- PRCE initial engagement: 1 year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and requirement.
- Direct Recruitment: Surety Bond of Rs. 4,00,000/- to serve minimum 3 years or till superannuation. 3 months prior notice for resignation.
- Direct Recruitment: Probation period of 1 year.
