DPCC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Only officers and officials holding a regular post in the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory, Recognized Research Institute, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Bodies, or PSUs are eligible to apply. Applications from officers working in private organisations, or those who are unemployed, retired, or on a contractual basis, will not be considered.
Post-wise Eligibility and Educational Qualification
1. Senior Environmental Engineer (Level-12, Pay Matrix Rs. 78800-209200)
- Holding an analogous post on regular basis; or having at least five years of regular service in Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) or equivalent; and
- Possessing a Master's degree in Engineering in a related field from a recognised University or Institution, with ten years' experience in pollution control or a related field after acquiring the Master's Degree.
- Relevant Engineering fields: Civil, Environment, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Biomedical Engineering, Water Resources, Remote Sensing, GIS, or Hydrology.
2. Environmental Engineer (Level-11, Pay Matrix Rs. 67700-208700)
- Holding an analogous post on regular basis; or having at least five years of regular service in Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56100-177500); and
- Possessing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a related field with eight years' experience in pollution control after the Bachelor's Degree, or a Master's degree in Engineering in a related field with six years' experience after the Master's Degree.
