Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Diploma in Electronics Engineering (ECE/ETC/I & E/EI or any allied branches)
- Essential: Diploma candidates must have registered their names at https://www.nats.education.gov.in. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected
- Passing Year: The candidates who have passed their Diploma degree in the year 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2021 are not eligible
- Mode of Study: Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply
- Experience: Diploma degree holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act
- Nationality: Indian national only
Salary/Stipend
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Rs. 10,900/- Per Month
- The stipend will be paid for the entire training period of 12 months
- This is a purely temporary engagement under The Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973 & 2014

Selection Process
- Selection will be made on the basis of Written Test/ Personal Interview/ Both for shortlisted candidates after document verification
- A Walk-in-interview will be held at Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur on 04-02-2026 at 1000 hrs for selection and engagement of Technician Apprentice (Diploma) on purely temporary basis
- Verification of credentials shall be done for selected candidates prior to creation of contract
- In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected
General Information/Instructions

- The period of training will be 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship
- Selected candidates have to submit the "Medical Fitness Certificate" at the time of joining
- No TA / DA will be paid to the applicants called for at any stage of the selection process
- The Selected candidates must execute a Contract for a period of 12 months of training as per provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules framed there under
- Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement
- It shall not be obligatory on the part of the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, where training is imparted, to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of period of his/her apprenticeship training
- Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process
- ITR reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training
- Any canvassing or personal follow up with an intention of inducing the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature
- ITR reserves the right to withdraw / cancel the advertisement / selection process if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof
- In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon'ble High Court of Odisha, Cuttack
- The apprentices will not be provided any Govt. quarters / hostel accommodation/ transport by this establishment at the time of Written/Interview and also during the training period
- Interested eligible candidates, who are Indian national and fulfill the eligibility conditions, may report between 0800 hrs to 0930 hrs on 04-02-2026 for Walk-in-Interview at Integrated Test Range, Chandipur-756025, Balasore (Odisha)
- Candidates must bring all certificates/documents in original in support of their qualifications/age/caste/experience(s) and duly completed application in the prescribed PROFORMA with a recent colour passport photograph pasted on it, along with one self-attested photocopy of each testimonials/certificates

- Diploma candidates must have registered their names at https://www.nats.education.gov.in before appearing for the interview
- Required documents include: 10th Certificate & Mark sheet, 12th Certificate & Mark sheet, Diploma Certificate & Mark sheet, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Identity Proof, NATS Enrollment proof
