Selection Process
Selection is by interview. The notice says candidates will be informed on Phone/SMS/E-Mail of the exact interview date in the third week of December 2026. Candidates are requested to report physically, while out-station candidates have the option of giving the interview on video call.
Bring the following to the interview:
- All original certificates, mark sheets, degree, diploma and course documents
- Work experience documents
- Passport size colour photographs
No Traveling Allowances/Dearness Allowances are admissible.
Service Conditions
- Ex-Servicemen are engaged on a contractual basis for one year, and civilian staff for 11 months.
- The contract is renewable for an additional one year/11 months, or till the candidate attains the maximum age of 65 years.
- Renewal is subject to the performance of candidates and other conditions.
- Misrepresentation of facts renders the appointment liable to immediate termination, without prejudice to any other action.

Mandatory Affidavit/Undertaking
Every applicant must declare whether they are presently in receipt of any resettlement facility or benefit under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW)/DGR. The applicant must also undertake not to receive any such benefit simultaneously if selected and appointed as a contractual employee under ECHS.
