Eligibility Criteria
i. MBBS from an institution recognized by National Medical Council/Medical Council of India,
ii. Post Graduation Diploma / Degree (MD/MS/DNB, or equivalent) in relevant discipline from an institution recognized by National Medical Council/Medical Council of India/National Board of Examinations.
iii. Should be registered with Medical Council.
PG Degree or equivalent in concerned specialty from Recognized University With 3 (three) years' experience after acquiring PG Degree.
OR
Minimum of 5 (Five) years' experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring PG Diploma.
Salary/ Stipend
Full Time Specialists: For Junior Specialist, (Level 11; 3 Yrs. Exp. post PG as per RR) Rs. 1,31,880/- plus transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rules. For Senior Specialist (Level 12; 5 Yrs. Exp. post PG as per RR) Rs 1,53,502/- plus transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rules.
Part Time Specialists (with no case to case): Rs. 60,000/- per month for 16 hours per week (maximum 4 hrs per day), Additional Rs. 15,000/- Charges if opt. for Emergency visit. Additional Rs. 800/- for every additional hour beyond 16 hrs/week. (The additional hour of work shall be subject to approval by MS/Dean).
Senior Resident- 3 Year on contract basis (Under Senior Residency Scheme): The Senior Residents will be paid in the Pay Band 3, Level-11 of Rs. 67,700.00 plus other allowances (DA, HRA, NPA, TA, etc.) as applicable under Govt. Of India. An amount of Rs. 1350/- will be deducted for S.R.s possessing only Diploma.

Full Time / Part Time Specialists Age: not to exceed 69 years as on date of Advertisement.
Senior Resident- 3 Year on contract basis (Under Senior Residency Scheme) Age: 45 years as on the date of Advertisement. (Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. of India Rules)

General Information/ Instructions
The number of vacancies may be changed without any prior notice.
No TA/DA will be admissible either for the 'Walk- in- interview' or for joining the post.
The Competent Authority reserves the right to fill up all or not to fill up any post or cancel any vacancy /interview at any stage.
The selected candidates will have to join stipulated date given in offer of appointment.
The selection is subjected to the candidates providing their medical fitness Certificate issued by Medical Board at ESIC Hospital Rudrapur.
Candidates must be registered with Medial Council of India before joining the post.
The candidate who is in the Service should submit "No Objection Certificate" from the employer at the time of interview.
The selected candidate will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) drawn in favour of 'ESIC fund A/c No 1' payable at Rudrapur, towards security deposit.
Candidate seeking reservation benefits for SC/ST/OBC/EWS must ensure that they are entitled to such reservations per eligibility prescribed in the Notice. They should also be in possession of the required certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim as stipulated in this Notice. OBC candidates should ensure that they are in possession of valid OBC Certificate issued within such issued by the authority mentioned in the format.
The candidate claiming reservation / age relaxation on grounds of belonging to OBC should submit the community Certificate in prescribed proforma vide Govt. Of India, Department of Personnel and Training OM No.36036/2/2013-Estt(Res). Date 30.05.2014 failing which the benefit of reservation / relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected and no request/correspondence will be entertained. Certificates issued in other format will not be accepted and the candidates will be treated as "General Category" for all purpose. Validity of OBC certificates issued by the Central Government in One Year from the date of issuance. So Candidate will not submit this Certificate One Year old.
Those who belong to SC/ST/OBC category should produce valid caste certificate issued by the Tahsildar/Revenue Divisional Officer. OBC certificate must be as prescribed vide DoPT, Govt of India OM No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.1993 which should certify that the candidate do not belong to anyone of the Creamy Layers.
Candidates claiming reservation under EWS category should produce their EWS certificate as prescribed vide DoPT, Govt of India OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res) dated 31.01.2019.
All the candidates are directed to report in the office of the Medical Superintendent ESIC Hospital, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand as per the timing mentioned above.
The decision of the selection board will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstance.
The candidates shall be governed by the relevant Rules and Regulations adopted by the ESIC in this regard.
Other terms & conditions will be applicable as issued by the Competent Authority from time to time.
Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the service in the hospital or No claim for any service benefit like, PF, Pension, Gratuity, medical Allowance, Seniority, and Promotion.
Hostel accommodation/quarters/uniform will not be provided.
The appointment shall not offer any right or preference for regular appointment.
In case regular incumbent joins in, the appointment shall be terminated immediately. The discretion will be solely of Medical Superintendent.
Available on call 24x7 if he/she is drawing/opted emergency call charges.
The Specialist / SR shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his supervision in his discipline.
The posts are contractual and the contractual engagement may be terminated / discontinued by either side giving one-month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.
Selected candidates will have to sign Agreement of Terms & Conditions on Rs.100/- Stamp paper to be purchased by the candidate prior to joining.
In case of non-appearance of eligible candidates for SR and specialist against the advertised category, the vacancy may be filled by available qualified and eligible candidates for less than 45 days.
The selected Specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover the professional liability falling on them as a result of errors and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services. The minimum sum assured per annum should be- a. Rs 30 lakhs: Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc. b. Rs 20 lakhs: for General Surgeons, Gynaecologists and Obstetricians etc. c. Rs 10 lakhs: for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Chest (Pulmonologists) etc. d. A copy of the Insurance & Premium Receipt must be submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement. Private practice will not be allowed for Senior Residents on contract.
Candidates who have already worked as SR for 3 years after PG Degree/Diploma under central Residency scheme in any govt. Organization are not eligible to apply for the post of Senior Residents on contract basis under 3 Year Senior Residency Scheme.
