ESIC Medical College Ranchi Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Terms of Contract
Tenure: 1 year, extendable every year up to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance, or till the joining of the regular incumbent, whichever is earlier. Maximum tenure till attainment of 70 years of age.
Leave: 2.5 days paid leave per completed month of work on a pro-rata basis in a calendar year. No half leave or advance leave. No leave encashment. Salary deducted for leave beyond permissible limits.
Security Deposit: ₹30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) as non-interest bearing security deposit in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of 'ESIC Saving Fund Account No.2' payable at Namkum - to be submitted at the time of joining. Refundable after successful completion of contract upon production of 'No Dues Certificate'.
Termination: 1 month prior notice from either side. Spot resignation by the candidate requires depositing 1 month's salary into ESI Account through Challan. Immediate termination without notice for misconduct; security amount will be forfeited.
Other conditions: No claim for PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, TA/DA for attending conferences, etc. No accommodation provided. Attendance mandatory on Aadhaar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (AEBAS). Private practice strictly prohibited. Absence beyond 7 working days without permission amounts to automatic termination. Candidate must sign a Non-judicial Stamp Paper agreement (Rs.100/-) with the Dean at the time of joining.
