GBU Research Associate-I and Project Associate-I Eligibility 2026
Age limit: Up to 35 years on the closing date of the advertisement for both posts, with age relaxation as per GoI Instructions.
Research Associate I
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable qualifications:
- Prior research experience in biopolymer extraction, derivatization and their characterization
- Prior research experience in synthesis of superabsorbent composites/hydrogels, and in seed coating and its characterization
- Prior research experience in handling a biomass processing reactor and related assemblies, and in bioprocess engineering
- Prior research publications/patent in biopolymers, superabsorbent composites, hydrogels or seed coating
- Hands-on experience in operating a biomass processing reactor
- Proficiency in scientific writing and lab management
Project Associate I
Minimum qualifications: Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience working in agriculture and horticulture (field and pot trials)
- Experience with seedling growth parameters (root and shoot length, vigor index)
- Experience in lab management and administration
