Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess BSc / BSc MLT / DMLT with 2 years’ experience in a recognized organization as a Lab technician. Desirable qualification is experience of lab work in the field of molecular analysis.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of higher educational qualification, work experience and/or screening test, if required.

• Candidates must obtain NOC from the concerned department if already working in any institute.
• Candidates are advised to remain in continuous contact with GMCH website (www.gmch.gov.in, www.gmch.nic.in) for all related updates.
• Appointment will be purely on contract basis (temporary in nature) and will not confer any right for regular appointment or permanent absorption in GMCH-32.
• The appointed staff may have to work in emergency situations, field visits and outstation travel.
• Tenure of contract appointment would be renewed regularly quarterly till the remaining period of the project.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview or for joining the post.
• Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons.
• All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Court of Law at UT, Chandigarh, and the validity of the waiting list will be for one year.

Salary/Stipend

The selected Lab Technician will receive a salary of Rs 20000/- per month plus HRA, as per the project terms.
