GPSC Veterinary Officer, Class -II Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Bachelor's degree of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or "bachelor's degree of Veterinary Science" obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other Educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and have been recognised under Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 or a recognized veterinary qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984
- Possesses the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
- Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both
- The Candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to get himself registered with the Gujarat Veterinary Council or Veterinary council of India under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 at the time of his appointment, if he/she is not so registered.
